Feedback on our roughage.

We did it. It was solid.

We got some feedback from our class.

In terms of camerawork, a lot of people liked the shots we took, but felt that it would benefit from a larger variety of shots of Neil singing. Apparently the fish eye lens was pretty ace. We agree. We can't really go out and film more shots of Neil singing because we can't get hold of the studio again, which is a shame. We could add more shots from a different location but that would look a bit cheap.
Apparantley the transitions between Christopher and the band were good, but the whole Christopher section was a bit random. I suppose it is a bit random, but we wanted an element of the surreal to it, plus we felt that the song didn't lend itself too wall to a narrative, especially as it is such a short song.

Apparently the pace was good, and the cuts were clean. As a group, we did however decide that certain sections of the video would be improved by some more fast cuts.
We were told that the sped up section of the video was cool. Thanks.
We agreed with many people that the shots of the band need to be made brighter. We are currently increasing the white balance and the saturation in the band shots, this should brighten the tone of the band shots and add far more colour. It does make them look a bit grainy, but it looks quite cool, it gives it a more of a sense of life. According to T2-53, it would give it some 'Pazaz'.

There was very little discussion on the mise-en-scene; but the word on the street is that it was pretty cool (and my shoes are cool). I can dig that baby.

Most people seemed to like the radio intro too; we need to sort the levels of the volume for the distances of different shots to give it the sense that it is proper diagetic sound though.
